Neramioji klasė: registration and work uploads for a pupils' creative platform

A national creative platform for pupils got a new entry page, an English version and one registration form through which pupils upload their work straight into the organisation's own storage, with no account needed.

What was needed

Neramioji klasė is a Lithuanian public institution building a national creative platform for pupils. Its existing website needed a proper registration form for pupils and schools, and then a way for pupils to upload their work without creating an account.

It also needed a split entry page so that the platform and a second project sit side by side, and an English version, because colleagues from abroad were about to see the site. Pupils' data and parents' consent had to be handled safely.

What I built

  • A new entry page with two large cards, one for the platform and one for the second project; the organisation chose it from ten variants shown on a hidden preview page.
  • One registration and upload form: pupil or school, nine creative formats, video, audio, image, PDF and ZIP files up to 2 GB.
  • Files go straight from the pupil's browser to the organisation's own storage in pieces, with a progress bar and automatic retries; pupils need no account.
  • A parental consent check for every pupil: the work waits in a separate folder until the organisation marks the consent as checked, then moves to the school's folder by itself within minutes.
  • A privacy page, a printable parental consent form and a clear end date for keeping the data, after which the data is deleted in one run.
  • Abuse protection: a hidden trap field, request limits and a storage space check; no personal data in the logs, and automated tests check the form.
  • An English version: the site's pages are translated with their own addresses, and an LT | EN switch is visible on every page.
  • Phone layout fixes on six pages and other changes at the organisation's request.
  • Before any change the existing pages were saved, and after the work they were checked to be unchanged.

What the client can now do themselves

  • Change logos, texts and card sizes in their own website builder.
  • Mark a parent's consent as checked or rejected, and accepted works move to the school's folder by themselves.
  • See every registration, school and work with its status in their own spreadsheet and folders; the data belongs to the organisation.
  • Delete the data in one run at the end of the season.
